I don't even know how to connect the gap from the time I last wrote something here and now... so I won't even try. Here we go...

I don't think I knew what I was getting into when I said that I wanted a house that needed some renovation (I don't want to offend my humble abode by saying it's a "fixer upper", because it's not, but it really hasn't had any updates since shag carpeting and crazy wallpaper reigned supreme).
We've managed to get rid of the 7 different kinds of flooring and 5 different kinds of wallpaper that existed when we first moved in but the house is far from done.
We're working on the room that is to become 'The Office' or what J likes to think of as his 'Music Room'.
The terrazzo in the hallway and 'The Office' has been covered (to my dismay) by eco-friendly bamboo wood flooring and we're toiling away with painting. Ceiling, door frames, 3 walls have been painted white and the color of choice is Hidden Meadow by Behr. Bright? Yep!
Hopefully I'll figure out how to post a picture so I can show you our work so far...
